SheetSweep Terms of Service

SheetSweep is operated by SheetSweep.
1. What SheetSweep does
SheetSweep is a browser-based spreadsheet cleanup tool. You upload a CSV, TSV, or Excel file, and SheetSweep applies automated cleaning rules — removing duplicates and empty rows, trimming whitespace, standardizing dates, emails, phone numbers, names, and statuses — then gives you a cleaned file plus a change log describing what was changed.
2. Your data stays in your browser
Cleaning happens locally in your browser tab. Your file is not uploaded to our servers during cleaning. We do not see, store, or sell the contents of your spreadsheets.
3. Your data belongs to you
You own the data you upload and the cleaned output you download. SheetSweep claims no ownership over your uploaded files or cleaning results.
4. Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use SheetSweep.
5. Review your results before you rely on them
Automated cleaning is a best-effort process. SheetSweep may misinterpret ambiguous data, and some values it cannot confidently clean are flagged for your review instead. YOU are responsible for reviewing the cleaned file and the change log before using the data for any business, legal, financial, or operational purpose. Do not treat SheetSweep output as verified or error-free.
6. Keep your originals
Always keep a backup copy of your original file before cleaning. SheetSweep is not a backup service and is not responsible for data loss.
7. No warranties
SheetSweep is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SheetSweep and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service — including data loss, business interruption, or decisions made based on cleaned data. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim (if you used only the free tier, that amount is zero).
9. Paid plans, billing, and refunds
Pro is $29/month, billed monthly. Your subscription auto-renews each month until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Pricing → Manage subscription — you'll keep Pro until the end of your current billing period. Founder ($99) and Lifetime ($500) are one-time payments, no renewal. 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans, no questions asked. Email support@sheetsweep.com for a refund within 7 days of purchase.
10. Free tier
The free tier includes unlimited cleaning passes for files up to 4 MB. Paid plans raise the file-size limit and add additional features. We may introduce reasonable usage limits to prevent abuse of the service.
11. Acceptable use
Do not use SheetSweep for unlawful purposes, to process data you have no right to process, or to attempt to disrupt the service.
12. Termination for cause
SheetSweep may suspend or terminate access to paid plans (including Lifetime) for cause — fraud, abuse, illegal use, or attempts to disrupt the service. Termination for cause does not entitle the user to a refund beyond the 7-day money-back window.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
14. Changes
When we update these terms, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. We will flag material changes to users, such as through an in-app notice, before the updated terms apply.
